The Mindful Learning Space

Character & Leadership Skills

Developing good character traits, personal values, and leadership skills for a successful & meaningful life

In this series we educate students about character traits, personal values, and leadership skills through stories, activities, games, interactive exercises, and discussions.  We believe this learning is as critical and essential for students of all ages, as their academic and extracurricular learning, for it helps children develop real world problem solving,  understand themselves and others, have a vision, know who they want to be, and their personal values. Further they learn how to become the person they want to be and look up to be, and their role as a citizen, and a leader, in building a community/society that nurtures and respects their personal and collective values, and vision.

The main intent is to provide a safe learning space, where students can test and validate their ideas, beliefs, problem solving skills, make mistakes, and develop a bigger, & broader perspective and life wisdom. Be it analyzing characters and morals in fairytales, fables, comics, or short stories; or analyzing social media debates, trends, news, or standing up for a cause; or making a difference with your own “drop in the ocean” contribution; or conducting with gratitude, integrity, kindness, and compassion; or envisioning changes & innovating products, services, & systems  for a better world; – students learn, and practice valuable age appropriate life skills. Besides, each session is packed with fun, engaging, and interactive lessons, and activities bringing students to the classes with enthusiasm
