Youngsters embark on a creative journey of their own, as they discover the creative process, learn about creative geniuses, and mess with their inner creativity in a variety of ways, in this innovative course. Inner creativity much like any other skill must be sparked with exploration, fanned with practice, and nurtured with nourishing process & context.
Young students draw inspiration, discuss habits for nurturing creativity, and explore life stories of creative geniuses, from different domains & different times. Students work on their own creative goals along side class exercises during the course. They ideate, imagine, & innovate, and engage in fun, and inspiring activities with peers, and surprise themselves discovering their newly infused creativity.

Course Details
Infuse creative enthusiasm in young people by providing a positive space to explore with curiosity and engage creatively
Understand and embrace the fact that creativity is a not a unique, inbuilt virtue or a gift, but a skill that must be developed by embracing process, & nurtured with continuous practice.
Stimulate creativity in youngsters by inspiring them with stories, exercises, safe creative collaboration spaces, resources, and positive feedback.
Foster positive collaboration & interaction among youngsters, while challenging them to inspire each other to engage in creative exploration.
Engage students’ multiple intelligences, and develop multifaceted thinking acumen, as they engage in developing creative/innovative solutions
Students engage in explicit creative thinking, and training activities that bring meta cognition, and awareness to their creative goals, thought process, discipline, and engagement. They learn & discuss habits for nurturing creativity, and life stories of creative geniuses, explore game changing creations, from different domains & different times & draw inspiration from history.
In each class, we explore creativity in many ways by engaging in hands-on exercises – beginning with creatively expressing one self – (in words, in pictures, in stories, in memes & more), and delving into a variety of creative exercises like writing a song, making a video, capturing an image, building a prototype, writing a caption, developing an ad campaign, creating surveys, designing a chatbot, designing a board game, writing a video game, scripting a dialogue, sketching a character, preparing a drama setting, designing a piece of jewellery, a dress, or a website, coming up with a new food recipe, and many more.
Each class is highly interactive, where students are continuously brainstorming ideas, collaborating, problem solving, and seeking feedback from each other. Students wing their imaginations, by engaging in creative thinking, on this fun, and interactive creative platform with like minded peers. Most importantly students embrace willingness to try, and get better with practice, and perceive a sense of belonging on this platform.
Our teachers are highly qualified, well trained, and experienced, subject matter experts, with exceptional ability to interact, and engage young students online
55 minutes per class once or twice a week, and an estimated 30 minutes to 2 hour per week outside of class for home work
Students are provided a variety of stimulating exercises and prompts to stimulate their creativity . Homework is optional, however students are welcome to post their work, and reach out to the instructor for questions/clarifications.
Rough notebook or paper, pens & other stationary. Students will be notified ahead of class when additional items are needed for class activity
Reference material, and external resource information will be provided & updated regularly to reinforce learning with ongoing practice
Formative assessment based on student’s participation, level of engagement & interaction, and the quality of their work in class, and homework is provided at the end of the session, so students can further their strengths, while working on areas that need practice.
FAQ
This is an interactive, instructor led small group online class that will be conducted over a zoom session. Students are given many opportunities to share, and interact with peers, and teachers in class. Each student is given individual attention when needed to ensure that every child grasps the concepts, and participates actively in class.
All students greatly benefit from this course where they engage in many creative thinking exercises, find like minded peers, get inspired by creative geniuses and game changing creative products. They emerge as enriched creators who are always exploring, observing & ideating, and are not afraid to take risks
The class caters to both new and returning students, we help discover their creative goals, understand what helps, and what comes in their way of realizing their goals and offer positive support in our collaborative creative space.
The activities and exercises during the first class are largely geared towards understanding students’ creative goals, their understanding of creative process & more. The intent is to build rapport among students, and between each student, & the instructor and to understand their course goals. It is very essential for all students to attend the first class of each session.
Yes, a summary of the concepts taught, and exercises practiced in class, will be provided for students/parents to review through email, WhatsApp & the course reference page.
Teachers are available for an extra 10 minutes, towards the end of class, for students to reach out with any related questions or asks. Further students may reach out to us on the course email (which will be provided to enrolled students), for more questions/clarifications
The Mindful Learning Space is a big believer in continuous learning, practice, and nurturing lifelong habits, to this extent we make the practice exercises & course resources available to students for further practice & reference
